2024 Spring Baseball Season

Announcing the Dunwoody Senior Baseball Spring baseball season! Spring baseball at DSB consists of a 10 game season, meaning (including practices) teams typically have 2-3 events per week starting in late April and running through the middle of June. Plan on the season running as late as June 15th; we do this with the intent that our playoffs will not conflict with finals for most schools, but gives families plenty of time for a summer vacation.

Practice/Game Locations

Most games are played at the Brook Run Park Baseball Fields, which are located just across Barclay Drive from Brook Run Park and next to Peachtree Middle School. Note that some games and practices may be held at other locations (such as Marcus Jewish Community Center, Medlock Park, Morgan Falls and Redan Park).

Age Groups

The Spring Season consists of two separate divisions. Note that a player's age for these purposes is as of April 30, 2024.

Lower League (played on a 54'/80' field) for 13-15 year olds
Upper League (played on a 60'/90' field) for 15-18 year olds

High School Players and Travel Teams are Welcome

We run our league so that kids playing on high school JV and 9th grade teams or on 14 YO/15 YO travel teams can participate. Most JV/9th grade seasons are over before we get started.

Uniforms

For DSB in-park teams (individual player signups), players will be provided jerseys and hats by the league as part of their registration fee. Players are expected to provide baseball pants, belts, socks and shoes. Whole (pre-formed) teams that enter the league typically provide their own uniforms, but if needed, DSB can supply jerseys and hats for an additional fee.

Registration

Players can register individually and be placed on a team, or whole teams can enter to play. Registration ends on Friday, April 19, 2024.

Register to play as an individual player - cost is $325 per player if registered through March 31st, and $350 per player starting April 1st. Any registrations and payments submitted after April 12, 2024, are not assured of being assigned to a team.
Register a whole (pre-formed) team to play - cost is $3,300 per team.

We are always looking for good people to join our cadre of volunteers and coach teams. Please let us know if you can help-out. Contact information is below. A background check is required of all coaches before being allowed to coach in a DSB league.

Sat, Apr13	Checks or online credit card payments must be in our possession to complete the registration process.
Sun, Apr 14	Evaluations for DSB park teams. Lower League 5:00-6:30 pm, Upper League: 6:00-7:30 pm.
Wed, Apr 24	Notification of team assignments. Please do not contact DSB for your team before this date.
Mon, Apr 29 - Middle of June	10 game season plus single elimination playoffs, 1-2 games per week. Games and practices may be held any day of the week.
